Facility Development
On behalf of International Speedway Corporation, Mr. Sullivan simultaneously developed two major racing facilities; Kansas Speedway, a 1.5 mile oval with 78,000 permanent seats and Chicagoland Speedway a 1.5 mile oval with 75,000 seats, both have enjoyed sell-out crowds and enormous positive media coverage. Since their inaugural seasons the venues have been annual stops for the Indy Racing League and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Mr. Sullivan’s contribution included: site selection, government relations, public funding and marketing plan development as well as revenue and cost modeling. Sullivan Worldwide Marketing Group is currently engaged in the development of a major motor sports facility in Canada.
Facility Management
The staff of Sullivan Worldwide has extensive experience managing sports facilities. Our executives have overseen, managed, or consulted on the operations of 15 major sports facilities each with a seating capacity of more than 50,000 seats and collectively representing more than 1.3 million permanent seats.
Facility Acquisition
Sullivan Worldwide Marketing Group has extensive experience in the area of facility acquisition. Our staff has played a leadership role in the sale, merger, or joint venture development of nine (9) major facilities.
Marketing Revenue Maximization
Sullivan Worldwide Marketing Group has considerable expertise in the maximization of marketing revenue. The process utilized provides a complete assessment of current operations, practices, and strategies. The review identifies issues and opportunities within the planning and implementation functions. The finished product is an enhanced revenue stream based upon improvement in multiple areas including: marketing plan development and implementation, sponsorship, licensing, brand positioning, PSL’s, season ticket packages, naming rights, hospitality, special events, promotion, marketing partnerships and suite sales.
